Quire keeps as little as it can.
- Accounts store a username, a salted and hashed password, and the edits made with them.
- Edits made without an account are marked with a short code derived from the network address. The address itself is not stored or shown.
- A sign-in cookie keeps you logged in, and a second cookie protects forms against forgery. Reading settings (theme, text size) stay in your own browser.
- There are no advertising or tracking scripts.
You can delete your account from Special:Preferences. Your edits stay in page histories, credited to a deleted user.
